The Labrador Aboriginal Training Partnership (LATP) would like to congratulate the 17 students from Sheshatshiu who successfully completed the Sheshatshiu Carpentry Training Program. This program began in June 2010 and was completed in February 2011. This was the second community based training project in Sheshatshiu funded by the LATP for 2010/2011. The training was provided by Academy Canada, via LATP funding. The successful completion of this training has provided the students with accredited qualifications and valuable skills for a wide variety of employment opportunities in the carpentry field.
